Student EmploymentAs stated in our mission the Software Development Center provides IUP students with real-world experience in designing and developing quality software to solve its clients' problems. Students who work for the center gain valuable software engineering experiences. Students are hired as Student Workers (at minimum wage), Student Programmers (at $8.00-$9.50 per hour) and as Student Professional Staff (at $9.50-$11.00 per hour). Students experience growth in self study and through training offered by the Center. students may work a maximum of 25 hours per week when taking classes (20 hours for international students) and forty hours per week when school is not in session.
