Educational Outreach

Review past SDC colloquia.

•K-12 Students

We hope to offer summer camps for K-12 students. Topics will be selected based on input from regional educators and our advisory board. If you have any requests, please let us know.

•K-12 Educators

We hope to provide professional development opportunities for K-12 information technology educators to build their expertise in current software development technologies. These professional development activities may include lectures, workshops, and internship experiences.

•IT Professionals

We hope to build a regional learning community of information technology professionals. We will provide a framework in which IT workers can share their expertise and support one another in professional development experiences.

•Community Institutions

We hope to offer lectures to regional decision-makers on emerging software development technologies and their implications for the decision-makers' organizations.

•IUP Students

We will offer guest lectures to IUP classes on software development topics. We will build a repository of examples for computer science faculty to use in their classes. We will sponsor IT professionals at IUP colloquia.
